Their heads raised to greet the dawn Tender shoots to dine upon A quick bite then they are gone Precious doe and fawn

Soon we will have fawns scampering about..the sweetest creatures. Today I saw a newborn calf in a field by the park...it was a special moment. loved your poem. BG

They always appear at sunrise or sunset and it is such a blessing to behold the Doe and her fawn, Francine. They may leave soon, but the impression stays with us. Beautiful dodoitsu! Love, Carolyn
