Precious
The time I spend with you is more precious than any gem
I hope darling that you can feel the love that from my heart stem
My dearest I want to offer to you all the man that I am
Though I know it is hard and the present situation I condemn
You belong in my arms and that is all my heart knows
It has been that way even a long, long time ago
I recognized you from the first time we said hello
And from that day my love for you continued to grow
I face the fact that there are a lot of things I can’t do
But know this baby; know in your heart that my love is true
Even if there are times that I do make you blue
I will never love anyone else darling but you
And though being far away from you is something I resent
I know there is no way that I could fate’s will circumvent
So let me just thank you for precious time that together we spent
Being with you is the only thing that brings my heart content
