Precious

You are
petals of velvet
the whisper of a moth's wings
dreams kept in bottles of silvery glass
the balmy breath of a moonlit night
You are the silence between words
the winter dreams of a cat, curled up fireside on the hearth
the shiver of leaves dancing in autumn fervor
the echo of the lone traveller's footsteps
the lullaby hummed by a mother to her child
To me you are all these things,
you are precious, you are adored
