Praying For a Flat

The wheels in the brain and round go round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round o O and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round go round and round in the brain The wheels Honourable Mentions Worth Mentioning Poetry Contest Sponsored by Richard Lameuroux This piece, I believe, is my finest shape poem to date. However simple, with the wheel there is an implied spinning motion, the hub providing a sense of a third dimension, and together they create the impression of an exasperated face~ stuck, in the "round and round and round..." of obsessive thought patterns.

Thank you Constance! I had the idea for this for a while, had worked it out for another that became a sphere. I love the nit-picky-ness! Had the loop perfect but tweaked to bring out face, stanzas and action. xomo!

Just keep rolling until the wheels fall off. I wrote one awhile ago trying to explain my brain process also. I compared it to a school of fish changing direction synchronized. Thisil is a good way to look at it too. Nice!

Thank you! No doubt. I don't drive but O' bike flats. The frozen fingers. Don't miss those ;) though I eventually found the best tires, put them on in the fall, would not get a flat till spring. I like to think I'll never have another flat :)) xomo
