Praying'

Every time I rise I'm thankful to be alive,
It's hard to stay focus, gratefully I have the will to strive.
On my knees I acknowledge humbly that I'm a sinner,
And in my faith I've turned the corner, I'm with the Lord a true winner.

Asking Him for blessings for my family, I'm showing love,
That their dreams and aspirations, are a gift from above.
God listens to all and some times doesn't answer.
He deems it not good for you, it's not now maybe hereafter.

Do you ask Him? Acknowledging that it is in His own time.
And the door you ask for some times is not that fine.
His plan for you may not be what He wants for you,
Having something else in mind, another dream may come through.

He never gives us something we may want,
He may know that it's not good for you, So in good faith He can't.
Believe our Father, He knows where your going and where your headed,
And it will be known, because what's given is your total blessing'

So if you are puzzled? worried about what's happening in your life,
Believe in the Father, He'll show you a great time, you and your wife.
All Christians, being humble, glorifying God, and adoring the Father,
Will give you your needs, through Him and blessings, Praying is all that matters.

Is this a repost, Robert? I remember commenting before on one of your poems where you explained why God doesn't always respond to prayers as we wish he would respond. I agree that He knows what's best for us and responds to prayers sometimes in ways we don't understand. Peace and blessings, Carolyn
