Prayers God Seldom Hears
Dear God, protect me from Evil
Particularly the Evil I might cause.
Dear God, this is what I want to do
Please tell me why I should not do it.
Dear God, these are the sins I committed by doing the wrong thing
Please tell me the sins I committed by not doing the right thing.
Dear God, I have talked enough about what I think I need
I am going to listen quietly for what You think I need.
Dear God, please make use all of my time, talent, and treasure
You do a much better job of managing it than I do.
