Prayer

I lay my body down to sleep, my soul I give to God to do with as He please, I don’t know how to do his will, yet here my body lays so still.

Day is done night is here, now I am calm as no light I seek, GOD still sees my mistakes, no place to hide, my eyes I close as to pray, Lord forgive me as I did not serve your will today, yet you still love me, my soul is weak..

Stress, pain anger I sought no love, forgiveness, mercy filled my life, Lord yet you were there near me patiently waiting for my prayer of help, as a mother, and a wife..

Doing my own thing, selfish foolish heart, no kneeling before you Lord, yet right beside me patiently waiting with a caring hand, to lift my weary sinful eyes to say, “My child you don’t fight this life alone.”

God I ask you, what have I done to deserve your unfailing love, mercy upon my broken Soul, I’m afraid to meet your Loving Gaze, my unshed tears fall like a springtime brook, your loving gentle hand wipes them away, as I gaze into your loving teary eyes, you say, “ My child, you were withheld so much nurturing, unconditional love, My child, all I EVER asked was to be allowed to hold you in my Merciful loving arms, so now I wrap you in my Embrace, against my chest, to show you what a true Father should hold his daughter because you are my Child, with whom I died for”.

My Lord, please hold me forever, never ever let go”. It was me who was seeking HiS love, but my blindness, my sins whom kept me from seeing, feeling, your LOVE..

Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, keep us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy, AMEN..
