Pray

Are you happy?
Pray

Are you sad?
Pray

Are you
On top of the world?
Pray

Are you
In the bottom of a pit?
Pray

Are you
Joyful
With a new born?
Pray

Are you
Torn
With a loss?
Pray

My mother prayed
Through wars
Through peace
In darkness
In light

She prayed
Without ceasing
With tears
Streaming down her cheeks

She prayed
Always ending
‘Not my will
But your will be done’

She prayed
Until her heart stopped
Mother was 92

Amen! And we must follow where they lead...into prayer through all generations. Be blessed, dear poet!
