September 19 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Hosea 6-10
Key Verse – Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR PRODDING US TO FOLLOW HIM
Praise be to God for prodding us to follow Him by His:
Goodness, gearing our growth’s goal
Graciousness, gripping us by His generosity
Greatness, guiding us to go along Gospel-glow
Gladness, governing us upon His gentleness-grants
Gloriousness, goading us against groping gloom of guilt
Hosea 7:10 Praise be to the Lord for
warning us against our pride that:
Destroys for our disaster
Drives us to desperation’s doom
Directs us along deterioration-distress
Devises toward our dismay of dreadfulness
Deprives us of dignity’s distinction due to disgrace
Hosea 8:13 Praise be to the Saviour for correcting us in
giving our offerings that He cannot accept because of:
Arrogance against spiritual standards
Attachment with social significance
Affinity to secularism’s stature
Anxieties through sinfulness
Apathy so self-seeking
Hosea 9:17 Praise be to the Almighty for
guarding from us from being wanderers by His:
Instructions of truth
Illumination we must trust
Inspiration toward our triumph
Infallibility of which we can testify
Integrity and influence for our thanksgiving
Hosea 10:12 Praise be to the Holy Spirit
for enabling us to seek HIM and His:
Mercy for our restoration
Miracles toward our revival
Might along our rejuvenation
Marvellousness in our replenishment
Maneuverings over our responses as His redeemed. Amen!
