Power Rules

In this world
Power rules
What would have happened
If Germany won WWII in Europe?
If Japan won WWII in Pacific?

Jewes would have disappeared
On this planet
Japan would have
Beheaded millions of
Asians
Their headless bodies scattered all over
Thier heads piled up on street corners

Church doors?
All closed

Shinto Shrines?
Full of life
People worshipping
Japnese emperor
Not because
Of their desire
But because
Of their lives

Thanks God
Democracy won
The war in Europe
Democracy won
The war in Pacific

Democracy won
Because they had
Stronger miliatry power

Let's face it
In this world
POWER RULES

Food for thought here. And glad to here that there are still people unafraid to back democratic societies. Thanks, Gershon

Yes, I agree, 'Cries of freedom can never be silenced', but with human blood.

Hi-Dong, Glad to find a poet friend who shares his wisdom as easy as bread crumbs to the Ghost Koi. I also like to imagine the world in the game of 'what if'. The world moves along in ebbs and flows like the changing tides. The cries for freedom will never be fully silenced. -Richard
