Power of God’s Love

Love of God makes me vibrantly alive midst His light
While my heart thanks His assured salvation with worshipful delight
Conquering hindrances due to sinful blight 
As I walk on paths of truth and right…
Knowing “That God should love a sinner such as I 	
      Should yearn to change my sorrow into bliss,
      Nor rest till He had planned to bring me nigh
      How wonderful is love like this!”*

Love of God upholds me triumphantly midst His commitment
Upon sanctification-purged prayer by His grace-bestowment
As I vanquish distractions due to selfish entanglement 
For me to benefit from His blessings’ endowment…
Believing that “I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene
     And wonder how He could love me, 
     A sinner, condemned, unclean
     How marvelous, how wonderful is my Saviour’s love for me.”**

Love of God cheers me radiantly midst His victory
In offering my grateful praises against gloom and worry
To be a blessing to others, giving to Him all the glory
While reaching-out to others; sharing His Gospel story…
Claiming for His “Precious love, oh, wondrous love divine
     Can it be this matchless love is mine?
     Yes! Its power thrills me, and its glory fills me
     Praise His name, I know His love is mine.”***

Love of God propels me jubilantly midst His guidance
Toward faithful stewardship along diligent work-performance
Despite struggles, trials and afflictions causing grievance 
While I continue in His mercy that drives my perseverance…
Trusting the Lord Who cares for me when
     “I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, 
     Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more; 
     But the Master of the sea heard my despairing cry,
     From the waters lifted me, now safe am I
     Love lifted me, when nothing else could help, love lifted me.****
