Power-Fail
The Power Is Out AGAIN!
And, I say this
While blocking a sneeze.
I say this
While blocking the breeze.
I say this knowing
That it could be much worse.
But this time,
It was icy lines
Last time... a wind burst,
Or a trickle of rain
Or some sh¡t.
I'm feeling kinda snarky,
...Hence the wit.
Better to laugh out loud
Than for me to pitch a fit.
Still...
THE POWER IS OUT AGAIN!
And, I'm like... OG&E, REALLY?!
So blocking the driveway, to trim trees...
Must've NOT been the Dilly,
Because YO, the power...
IS OUT AGAIN!
Is this my test?
Welp!
At least it's daytime.
At least I'm warmly dressed.
And, at least I'm not worried
about cooking,
because I'm FASTING...
But, that alone means,
That this short positivity fest....
AINT lasting.
After charging my phone
for the SECOND time,
IN THE CAR,
I'm starting to feel the stress.
And, just like that...
Quicker than sh¡t through a goose,
I'm mad AGAIN,
And, I figure it might be okay,
to let my Chatman temper, loose.
And, I'm flipping OG&E the bird,
Because... sh¡t!
I'm sick of this mess.
And, I'm ranting.
"I GUESS THE E STANDS FOR
EVER-OUT
EVER-CHILLY
EVER-PRAYING
Because we ALL know,
That with electricity...
You ain't slaying....
Because... the... power...
IS OUT
AGAIN!"
