Pouring Out Hope

I remind myself
I’m doing all I do
For the God of heaven
The One I pour out my heart to
The wonder of all wonders
The love I honor, worship and praise
The answer to my every prayer
The hope that He is always there
The grace that feeds my soul
The inspiration for a joy who knows
God is only a teardrop away
And He loves me more than I can say
With a love that creates thanks
For the music He makes
When He lights up the heart
With hope, faith and love
Brighter than the stars above
More wonderful that any dream
His glory is alive and can be seen
In the heart who carries Him
An anchor for every need
Amid the storms and challenges
Of a darkness that is thick as fog
Leaving a silence that colors the heart
In hues of dread, fear and despair
Still, His light reflects on the soul
Pouring out love that will wash away
All the worry, sorrow and grief, silencing
The doubt with a shout of belief!
Colossians 3:23
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
King James Version (KJV)
