An ethereal umbilical cord
- connected - you and I
sight unseen
across vast oceans.
Spiraling ribbons enchanted my soul
tickling a smile from my lips.
Your gaze captured my heart,
delivering light from the twinkle
I beheld.
Tears escape as I know communion will never be…
Tethered forever to you.
