Poultice
POULTICE
warm poultice
draws on my
imagination
deflecting the
heat of my
indignation
to a cooler
hue of light
blues
then freezes to
ice cubes of
resignation
pale damp off white
clouds hide behind
rainbows arched
missing clues
melting colours
out of views
anchored cantankerous
rubber bands
boomerang
hurting the collective
soul in waves of flotsam
frothing amidst mere
ransomed reasons
ridiculed seasons
warm poultice
