Soft cashmere amethyst blossoms twinkle---beautiful opening to a beautiful poem, my friend. And a lovely closing as well: scent of fresh rose in a glass vase with a scent reminiscent of spring---

Absolutely stunning colors and flow in this poem dr sotto, but this isnt a tetractys, it is a double etheree maybe by mistake you’ve put it under tetractys. thought of letting you know: i love the opening line in this the most, “ Soft cashmere amethyst blossoms twinkle. lilac lace of their heavenly voice“ captivatingly ethereal and so very well articulated. “ scent of fresh rose in a glass vase from lilacs and rainfall, the sun appears.” What an ending! Deeply touching and soulful. So Artistic

Your poem is as beautiful as your image. Lilacs are lovely flowers that have found a unique place in the poems of Walt Whitman. I remember having read the poem When Lilacs in the Last Dooryard Bloomed. The air is made fragrant with the smell of blooming lilacs and roses and the backyard is perfumed with the smell lilac soaps. Gifted with the abundance of words to put all your thoughts into beautiful verse, you are blessed, dear friend.

What a beautiful Tetractys, dear Sotto! You inspire me with your wide range of poetic abilities. The descriptive words created such a vivid imagery of lilacs. I loved this poem from the start. Hard to choose just one line to like. If I had to choose I'd choose: 'moving from sniffing soap lilacs on the backyard bench' probably because my mother loved lilac soap. I appreciate you stirring that memory. I must fave this poem...have a blessed week, your poetess friend in Texas, Sara

Lovely flower themed poem my friend. From the first words you can see the colourful imagery from the first line in your poem and you have done two which compliment each other perfectly... lovely shades of purple. I have a purple poem, maybe I should post it one day.
