Potential

Eyes closed
Waking in a world I belong
No more pain caused by not living up to the idealistic potential everyone believed i had
No more feelings of inadequacy
No one to control me
No one to say my thoughts and feelings don't matter
I am in a place now where I am the person I am
I may not be perfect
Then again who is?
Who gives you the right to judge?
There will be the day I achieve my full potential against the odds that life has given me
When that day arrives I know I have fully found myself

Joyful introspection. Isn't it nice to finally arrive at the beginning of wondrous things? Beautiful.
