Post Surgery

Hot, sweaty, weakness overtakes me
Rest, rest for now, rejuvenation will come
Prayers rise to God in the name of Jesus!

Blurred vision, dizziness, what's this all about?
No more pain, though Praise Jesus!
It is forty degrees outside and I am hot!?

The things I go through, aging is for the strong
Jared Keep exercising, it does help in the long run
Too bad life can't be a time share!

Juliane Thomas Date: 12/10/2009 4:35:00 AM It definitely take longer to recover these days. Took me weeks and weeks to recover from having all four of my wisdom teeth out in June. Carolyn Devonshire Date: 12/5/2009 9:59:00 AM Oh, Doris, I really loved that last line!! What a kicker it was for this great poem! And it is so true that "aging is for the strong." As for the exercise, my sister is 11 years my senior and I was huffing and puffing to keep up with her as we rode 12 miles on bicycles over the Thanksgiving holiday.
