Post Surgery

Hot, sweaty, weakness overtakes me Rest, rest for now, rejuvenation will come Prayers rise to God in the name of Jesus! Blurred vision, dizziness, what's this all about? No more pain, though Praise Jesus! It is forty degrees outside and I am hot!? The things I go through, aging is for the strong Jared Keep exercising, it does help in the long run Too bad life can't be a time share!

Beautifully crafted. "Too bad life can't be a time share!" This line is stirring, reminds me of a very dark time recently in my family, which was kind of hopeful, but kind of not. I hope you are doing much better. Thank you for sharing.

It definitely take longer to recover these days. Took me weeks and weeks to recover from having all four of my wisdom teeth out in June. There were complications that likely wouldn't have occurred had I been younger. Hope you feel better soon! Love that last line ~Juliane

Oh, Doris, I really loved that last line!! What a kicker it was for this great poem! And it is so true that "aging is for the strong." As for the exercise, my sister is 11 years my senior and I was huffing and puffing to keep up with her as we rode 12 miles on bicycles over the Thanksgiving holiday. If I lived with her, I'd be a string bean but probably extremely fit. Hope your surgery went well and you're feeling better now! Much love, carolyn
