Possessed By Fantasy

Crystalline dreams come rushing on glitters of sensation in her blood… this pure night changed into a dizzy maze , a heady ride on the gush of awakened illusion through wheels swinging a studded jaunt, as the fog in her mind begins to wander into unmentionable thrills of psychedelic blur, wrapped in a magical time like a voodoo- girl unknown by any blink of dire fantasy ................. Lewis Raynes’ That Colorful Drug Contest 6/2/2016 *cocaine is referred to as 'crystalline' alkaloid stimulant * ecstasy is a drug containing hallucinogens which includes cocaine

Congratulations. Well done. I particularly like the "crystalline" dreams. Is that metaphore copy-righted?

Hi, Nette. I like to congratulate you on your big win in Lewis Raynes' contest. Your imagery is amazingly fascinating; your words describe beautiful images, " her frail body possessed as it slowly dissipates into a dazzling fantasy ". The entire poem flows with beautiful lines. Be proud of your achievement, you have deserved this win. : ) Have a terrific weekend. Hugs, Andrew.

Well written my friend, having grown up in a city I saw many die from the use of drugs, it was a long slow process as their bodies slowly changed and life was drained from them

woah you've described it the way I could imagine it to be.. I've never tried the stuff but I can imagine it would be a colorful ride with a very hard crash at the end. Enjoyed reading your poem.. I think it's really good.

The language of this poem is magnificently expressed through a dark image, "yet nights ask for more cures." May we curb drug abuse!
