Portrait of Change

Bewildered, alone, with nothing left but breath

The distance travelled, now longer than planned

Ears ringing with the shrieking of a hundred birds wings

Untold stories are carried along in little boxes

No thought given, none at all

Voices whispered on the wind

Echo through the valleys of distant memories

Reflections are unfortunate perceptions of what we want to see

If it were not for you, would I still be me

White blossoms fall soundlessly to the ground

Eleven times around
