Bright day sets, burns my sorrow,
Strewn stars to dust the morrow ...
Trailing diamonds 'cross the skies -
Spark as hopes 'midst Heaven's eyes.
And should they find a shelter,
Through one soul that's set apart -
They'll end their fiery swelter ...
As fresh embers in ... my heart.
