Portal
Where lies the portal to heaven, we ask,
which scriptures affirm is within our reach,
if our soul aligns with love for this task
and ego’s wall of delusion we breach?
We close our eyes and feel energy rise,
straight up to an orifice in our crown,
where our ego dies and to our surprise,
in a stream of bliss, we willingly drown.
The neophyte who sought, now is no more,
for ego shorn, we’ve become the twice born
and since love in love with love keeps no score,
luminous becomes this form we adorn.
Simple is the path, for soul to evolve,
if in God’s light, we’re willing to dissolve.
