Poorly Giraffe

Lofty was a very large giraffe 
he got ill from standing in a draught,
got a very sore throat 
and sounded like a goat
funny to see a giraffe look daft.

You have a magic way in telling a story like this, especially when it is directed at kids. Your words are bubbling over with fun and excitement, well in tune with the intended fun effect. Your love of children and life shines brightly throughout your poem. Great job, Emile.
