Pond of Sunshine

A pond of sunshine lays on top of the snow
Between the wooded trees in a morning glow
A colorful circle is beckoning me to walk
Into snow-covered land, where wildlife talk
The storm has passed, leaving beauty behind
Now the sun rises, bringing more to find

In your poem I can see a gentle large moose, a snow shoe hair and a red cardinal on your "pond of sunshine" It would be fun to illustrate this one. A chilly time of year, but words make it feel warm.
