Polly In Pantoum
As rivers walk across her faded smile
The wind exhales the breath that blows her cloth
Her hair received by sunlight, shells and scars
Stretch out upon the streams that sing and slide
The wind exhales the breath that blows her cloth
Releasing pearls unto the waters palms
Stretch out upon the streams that sing and slide
French-kissed by fish before the moon arrives
Releasing pearls unto the waters palms
Her hair received by sunlight, shells and scars
French-kissed by fish before the moon arrives
As rivers walk across her faded smile
