Polish the Diamond

Polish the diamond, make it shine

Do not tarry, there may not be time

A short but catchy poem.

Hardest substance -- diamond thoughts my friend. I also think of a baseball diamond, well lined and cropped -- funny how much baseball, fair play and honest competition remains a part of us Older USA dinosaurs. You got me deep thinking again. Probably have this one all wrong. The unbreakable bond to wealth and possessions also come to mind. What do I know? Feeling dumber and dumber in this Brave New World.
