Poisoned By Cupid

Faces lost, in silver sand strewn across timeless beaches, A love that's so sacred and secure only the wisest man preaches. Some tremendous momentum, only pushing us forward, Together we share fear And love We take the risk and wouldn't stop it if we could. Our two worlds intertwined as are our hearts, With a growing fondness of one another, And an aching on departs. This wasn't a choice, A fait, Or some 'destiny' Its quite simply a feeling that's seemed to arrest me! Such a delicate crime, and perfectly executed, Your heart and mine, Stolen away, Poisoned By Cupid. A poison so deadly, It maddens the sain, Changes our language, And causes some pain. Optical illusions. A mile long shooting line. I had to delete them. So see what was mine. A soul of gold, A touch of a dove, The smile of perfection, Someone sent from above. Broken and batterd you have mended my wings, But yet, I do not flee, I stay In your heart built for kings. A tower for one? I remember you say, Yet our love knocked it down, And a castle for two now alay. Though I may blush, Stumble, Or look away, Your deep in my heart. And that's where you'll stay.
