Reaching a point of new heights Controlling life in tow What will happen in the end Praying to the Obelisk Impaled by life and death Joing the fallen Have we reached the point of no return Collapsing under the weight of the past In times of pain we give in to are own design Can we muster a great resolve before we fall The broken image of the human race is shattered surface The shards of truth cut the flesh of purpose Tears of the dawn can shed a needed light To realize what we've become We weren't meant to live like this To not know what is real freedom and prosperity Can life glean, no longer set to bleed We've known desire We've traveled the unknown We've obtained a vast knowledge But we are unfulfilled Pierced by the vile form of rage and hate The stagnation for amalgamation What does it all mean To struggle, to wimper, To live, to love To push forward Or are we at the point of no return
