Yes it is true:
Life is unfair
Right here on cue
In vivid air.
Yes you can see:
Each with a flair
To do and be
In strange affairs.
Yes you can look:
Seize and stretch sums
Go by the book
To fit what comes.
Yes in the end:
Do all you can
To work and bend
The rules you plan.
Yes time tells you:
To live your best
And pay your dues
With feisty zest.
