In my last poem we were in a classroom setting. Now in a social situation.
I just caught a glimpse of you walking on past
I then caught a glimpse of you glimpsing me
But you didn’t see me glimpsing you too
My gosh you are one fine young woman
You stirred up the feelings
I haven’t felt like this in a while
But it made me smile
Unrequited love is a lonely place
But I just think of your face
And what a beautiful face it is
A face that I chase in my mind
Please forgive me as I think of our marriage bed
All kinds of desires fill my head
But only desires and fires for you
Save all my love? Only for you
Two hearts become one and then flourish as two
And we nourish the flower
Give it tender care
Give all the things it needs to flourish anywhere
Oh! young and inexperienced woman
Why do you keep walking by
I think you are trying to catch my eye
Well, it’s caught and now what do I do?
I must say I have the most awesome view
And this view of you I keep with me
And maybe it’s a little playful teasing on your part
But my sexy and foxy poser
This voyeur’s camera is ready for the shot
So, keep walking by
(Can I be so bold to say my future bride)
And we will exchange glances and glimpses
(Hoping one day we will)
Consummate our internal playfulness inside
