Poets Sing of Everything
No matter what they may think you can depend on it,
Such voices telling of love and a million things more.
The romance then tragedy then comedy of it all is awesome,
If I drowned in a sea of words hoping it would be those.
To have a mind allow you to prance through its thoughts,
To dance in concert with its emotions is a true awakening.
Oh these lovely humans which too many pay no attention to,
I for one am honoured to revel in that beauty of them all.
These songs they sing for everyone without any pay,
Gifts given with love and even sometimes in desperation.
Whispering and even shouting their lives privacy to a world,
Unabashed intimacy actually bared to those who'll listen.
I've been to many a living movie through these words,
A sometimes warm and then cold hard truth on brain's screen.
Loving these writers who have no interest in profiting,
So if they do no sage is more deserving in my imagination.
