Poets Poem
Dear Poets,
Yes you, Emily Dickinson, your poetry taught me
about beauty and grace. You see things for what
they are and should be. As for me, it serves as
a reminder of self and what's beyond thyself. You
have taught me to grow and learn. Oh... and Edgar Alan
Poe. You speak to me from the darkness, and unknowing
places people rarely visit. You taught me to look,
and listen beyond all reason. You inspire me to
look beyond reality and push my imagination. Both
of you are some of the reason I am the writer I choose,
and want to be. Without your words and visions there
to inspire, the world would be a little bland by
comparison. Thank you for your penned works of art,
they make the writers circle a little brighter.
Forever Enchanted,
JT Nyx
