you and me

I hold the pen
and write
a first word
you go next
say a word
any word
or phrase
any phrase
whatever comes
to your mind

we’ll go on
alternating
until we’re all done
then I’ll finesse it
and call the poem ours
a sweet collaboration

I can imagine its a fun exercise especially on a long journey. I get my hubby to help if I'm stuck with a line or word but he's not interested in poetry at all:-) hugs Jan xx

Try writing about something he is passionate about. Most importantly though, the secret is in the timing.
