Diane, this is a wonderful write and oh so true. I too had trouble picking one so I was not going to enter at all. Then it happened... I was sitting here at my kitchen table working on something totally different and "The Man" popped into my head and would not leave...lol. So I entered the contest with that one. Hi Diane, You are right when you say that poetry soupers give positive coments. It is those comments that have helped me write even better. I always look forward to that positive reinforcement. It is just too difficult to pick one. I started to write some acroustics for as many as possible, but I couldn't find the words that expressed how much they mean to me. sorry bout your dad. i have taken meds for along time but they never really do work. yea stuff like that can happen to boys to i know because my brother was kdnapped and raped. my foster dad is now thinking about getting married because he see's how much me and my sister like his girlfriend. he told us that we would benfit from having a mother in our life. god bless you Love, Lesa
