Poetry Soup And Numbers He, he, he ...I think I have got it nailed right on the nob… After so many uploadings of poems without stop… Being a fledgeling poet as self declared and promoted… Readership numbers are quiet but crucial endorsements.. Of course readers’ positive comments are the best direct feedbacks… Nothing beats the moraleboost when in comes any good comment.. Here in Poetry Soup featuring some of its greatest talents.. What an ego boost each time a posted prose inch up in numbers.. Now I realise such numbers are dependent on some crucial factors.. If an uploaded prose is to have the most publicity and readership numbers… Timing of the uploading or submission is one very crucial factor… To maximise a poem in the new poetry list, timing very much matters… Late night hours over my side here coincides with daylight hours there… Readership numbers are then in large numbers and numbers will flatter … Title and the gist of the poem is another important ingredient… To attract and intrigue a trolling reader’s roving eyes and attention… Of course the literary style is a must, it is the writer’s unique identity… A way with words, terms and expressions that signify one’s creativity… Some seasoned poets here, I have noticed, undoubtedly have each a fan base… How else you explain the explosive numbers even when a poem is new born babe.. Maybe with this latest insight now about readership numbers in this website… Dare I flatter myself and hope every one of my prose will quickly grow in numbers?
