LOL


One cannot think straight!
Wants to sleep.
Yet, stays up for hours!
Like, till dawn!

Forgets the obvious,like
Leave the heat on instead of AC,
And if's 80 outside?
Truly, an air head!

Writes instead of going to bed.
Or comments incessantly.
Forgets to eat or sleep.
Every poem must be in a contest

Ah......Poetry Soup!
Can be either one's addiction.
Instead of most soothing treat!

Hello Darlene.. We all like poetry, I agree. All I meant, was for some ....it consumes lives. I was not making anyone wrong for so doing. Each has a choice. I do believe in indivual freedom and choice, for all of us, with a passion! I don't need a boss nor do you, in any aspect of our lives. If poets or not poets want to live under fear, that is their choice. I want no leader on my back. I lead myself. Currently, anyone who thinks for the self, Is called a terrorist. Take your vitamins, drink plenty of water, write and post a poem(or ten), check for comments, leave a few comments, .....call POETS ANONYMOUS.....

Hi John, how did you know myself and others took vitamins? Poets Anonymous. Short, Sweet and True for many here. But as in AA, many will deny it. "No! Not Me"... Denial is the first sign. Right...please keep in mind, we all have different goals here. Many post at more than one site!! My eyes can only take so much punishment. Ouch I past being 30 long ago. I feel closer to 300! )) Pangie..
