Poetry Miracle
I have written Poetry for many years,
I was chosen for the William Shakespeare Award.
Chosen for Editor's Choice Award,
Because the company liked my poems.
Appeared in the books published In the United States.
A copy of two books I wrote appeared in the Library of Congress.
Recently they chose my Thanksgiving poem for their letter and calendar,
What a nice honor that was.
I was photographed with my trophy for excellence in Poetry.
That was a lovely surprise and appeared on the Letter and Calendar.
Always say I am not getting older, I am getting younger,
You have to have your favorite hobbies.
Sending my relatives a copy of my poem,
Would be nice they would be proud of me.
God provides us with miracles, when we least expect them.
I will always be thankful.
