Poetry Blues
What is it that compels us to
forego
what is.
The known.
Fact,
proven or held true by the
many.
Excuse ourselves from family
and friends.
Step into a moving river
Swim against the tide
And try
To alter the current,
Refract the shadow
Refine the flow,
with words
that really define us.
