poetry is easy
to curl up in
comfortable
familiar
with words that say
just enough
and yet so much more
i like when
poetry is easy
to consume
with tasty words to
roll around my mouth
chunky chewy alliteration
smooth syllables
and silky imagery
that saturates my brain
i like when
poetry is easy
to get lost in
with scenery to
sink in to
and words that
almost escape
from my grasp
