Poetic Victory

Many have told you to stop
But you were persistent! 
You sent out your poems for the 
public to read 
You were unsure as to their recption
But now you take in accolades 
along with criticism
You certainly can't please everyone
If you don't have a thick hide 
You will trouble making it 
in this world 
Keep sending your work out!
Who knows - maybe you 
will become part of the literary Pantheon!!
Or, at the very least, make some new poetic friends!
