Poetic Gist

Poetry is the air I breathe,
  lifeblood trickling 'tween
    luscious marrow in my bones,
existentially rooted crux reflecting
Amen's utterances & hallelujah certainties
    'round reality's technical formalities
   foreshadowing furthermost prevalence
       of comprehensive earthy assumptions
            & defining whispered whimsies,
  exhaled betwixt sunrise's saturated ache
     for fiery transpired virtual presence,
        literally composed of complicit
  synchronicity resoundingly set ablaze
        mid expounded otherworldly desires

Lovely complexities in your visually stunning poem, Paloma. You cover the panoramic scope of emotions/consciousness overlaid on the sensory grandeur of our universe. A very daunting task that was carried out to poetic perfection, at least as far as I could tell. Fabulous writing, lady. Much love to you. RW

Hi Paloma, I really enjoyed this write. It was a well crafted piece. You made poetry come alive in a sensual yet tactful way. Although you wrote more than ten lines, if this was submitted to my " poetry "contest it would have most definitely made it on the winning list. Because I felt every word. A without doubt seven:-) Alexis

Such a wonderful poem that is so easy to believe after reading much of your work. This may be what poetry is to you but you are poetry to us.
