My ink keeps bleeding your sweet name tonight Whilst this heart's pleading time to sprinkle light Silent hummingbirds beneath starless skies Weave misty metaphors through midnight eyes Will roses ever be a kind mentor When fate unfolds a sharp thorny traitor Can love resketch hereafter through brushstrokes Interpreting fields where twin flame evokes An immortal enticing bonfire as angels of romance ascend higher I yearn to feel your poetic veins near realizing there's no sign of you, here Without us, this quill refuses to rhyme distance between oceans remain a crime

Ahhh!! Romantic and sad at the same time. Sometimes the desire to be with a loved one is overwhelming because it seems it is ripping our hearts out being away from the ones we love. I enjoyed reading this one today. Thanks for sharing it with us and for dropping by my page. Sara

This is truly beautiful. Such a lack luster word for such a stunning poem, but its heading in the right direction. Your poem fluffed up the love in my heart and made it feel fresh and new again. I couldn't ask for more..

Wow, this sonnet is so heartfelt and soulful whist painting such evocative shades of emotions.. I love the opening stanza, so creatively done! And this line "will roses ever be a kind mentor" Ahh, the questioning is so palpable.. Can love prove its essence once again and flourish in a broken heart? Can it resketch faith and hope on our souls? Ah.. Just so breathtaking.. "I yearn to feel your poetic veins near realizing there's no sign of you" The yearning comes with melancholy.. And that ending!
