Poem Started To Write

Poem Started To Write Room was cold to me Beside fire did lay down To warm myself up My room was well lit Computer screen clearly in view My mind meandered Room was well arranged So it could fulfil my needs A poem I started Ink flowed through my pen My words started to began  So someone could read Poem had been finished Then was entered in storage Later could retrieve How quiet room was And started to fade away Soon was fast asleep It just seems like you would write bout your own environment first. If I was writing about nature, I would be forcing myself. How do you feel and think about all of this? Americanized haiku you could call it. The Japanese language has its own construction and flow. I don't think or feel like it is synchronized with English. Jim
