Poem Number 1000 - Part Two - Could Do Better

Poem number 1000 : Part Two – Could do better. This is the thousandth poem I have written; I have been looking forward to this day for a very long time. Poetry took over my life and gave me a reason for my existence; Now I have a reason to do what I must do. I must write. Many years have come and gone since I began to write. I’ve spoken about my life and death; I’ve spoken about my future wife. I’ve spoken about anything and everything; I have been honest and lied. I have told you everything I feel inside And I am left with nothing to hide. If you want to know me completely, Then you will have to read all of my poetry. If you want a glimpse of the real me, Then find one of my poems and you will find peace, love and empathy. Sometimes you will find what you did not want to hear; But I must show you every part of my soul, including the fear.
