Poem in my pocket, what are my thoughts
What should I write, the things that I aught
What is a poem, what is a rhyme
Sounds like a beat keep it on time
Poem in my pocket, Is not what you think
It’s how the sand feels, Up under your feet
It’s a cool breeze, which ruffles your hair
A drive to the country, an unusual stare
The sentiment of things, I think you should know
The feelings I have, never thought I should show
The hugs and the kiss, I wanted to share
This Poem in My Pocket lets me act on a dare
So if you are curious to see what I wrote
To all my fellow Poets, let me end on this note
