Poem 12 Still

We fight Satan while sitting still
Waiting on God; waiting on miracles
We give and we sit still
We got to work daily so we can give and we sit still
But how often do we sit still and LISTEN to God's voice?
Listen to the Spirit of God?
Listen and be led by STILL waters?
We must learn to fight while being still and listening...
Listening for new strategies, listening for prophecies, listening for guidance
And while being still and listening to God we must also listen to others those who offer guidance and those who need us.
We must also take time to be still for the Lord.

Being still is incredibly difficult for some of us, and yet. I believe it is the only way to hear His voice.
