Plumeria
September cascades
Old plumeria tree sighs
Blossoms of red and yellow
Swiftly time evaporates
The old year gone too soon
Ageing new year ushers autumn
Grounded time falls away
A new September intrudes
Once again with blossoms
Flowery garden path
Weathered wood bench welcomes
A moonlit stranger's sigh
The crickets are gathering
A massive show of voice
This surge of darkness greeting
Dear wanderer take heed
This fleeting world abides
Within a strange diaspora
And when you look, look deep
To see if you can see and lift
A flicker of truth to unravel
