Pleasing Distraction
By your side every sunset
feels as if it’s my first
A blessing to life you’ve
never been rehearsed
And when the sun kisses
ambers morning skies
Dew drops hug leaves
with soft faint sighs
You always seem to
rejuvenate my inspiration
As I tremble from
these tingling sensations
Slowly whispering while
you speak to my soul
Teasing how my very
love you have already stole
Stroking my essence
making me desire
My body in delicious
spasms from your fire
Whispering to my being
in tender hushed replies
While we sit awaiting
our next dawning sunrise
A magical mystical veil
exist of infinite hope
Where two hearts on a
moon beam can elope
As wishes truest desire
can come true it seems
a beating heart rides
upon nighttime dreams
Wishes top rolling hills
in an echoing fashion
Soothing doubt held
with a pleasing distraction
