Please forgive this shape inside me

The beginning lasts as the book closes,
rusted pages talk to the dead writers,
Is there anything else to say, questions
arise from the words once known to heal
now kill, slow heart beat knows to suffer best,
undress the covers and put on the new face.
Who created this unbearable pain??
Loaded inside, stuffed and cut up,
looking to pay for someone or
something to absorb me, but
instead I found the wall in between,
my feelings divided in vain, crawl
and beg on my knees for mercy,
I was given a chance, sweet mystery
unfolded within this ritual of paralysis,
foundation of shape created new me,
anticipation within has toren everything
close within this pose and in its capacity,
please forgive this shape inside me,
he is just another among many to exist.
