For the contest, "Abandon," by Constance la France
Please don't abandon this life so soon Before blossoms spill their sweet perfume Wait with me for morning's garden song that gently reminds we each belong. Watch as sun dances over each hill, waking sleepy fields, lilac and still. We'll run through a field of marigolds, splash in a stream that defies control. We are so lucky to have this chance to share such beauty in a small glance. Don't abandon hope, for there is more waiting on sandy sparkles of shore. Love and beauty are everywhere just hoping to find someone to share. Please stick around for joy is random, and it will find you. Don't abandon!
